    • The annual Black Forest Festival, sponsored by the Black Forest Community Club, will be held this year on Saturday, August 9 th,,2008. This highly successful community event draws crowds, not only from the Black Forest, but the greater Colorado Springs area.  There will be vendor and food booths, games for the kids and many other surprises.


    Fun for the whole family

    Jon Karroll, news anchor at KRDO TV, channel 13, will be the parade emcee.

     

     

     

    Wild Blue Country

    Also featured will be the Air Force Academy “Wild Blue Country”,  acclaimed country and western group,  recently returned from a tour of military bases in Iraq.”

    There will be vendor and food booths, games for the kids and many other surprises. Fun for the whole family. The festival runs until 3:00pm. To ease the parking and traffic situation, shuttle service will be available for offsite parking. The Black Forest Festival is located at the corner of Black Forest and Shoup roads.
